Fotherby House Care Home - Testimonials

My mother has been at Fotherby House for 2 years and 2 months now and I consider her lucky to be in this lovely care home. The staff are wonderful, food excellent, care superb. Entertainment aplenty. Always a friendly, warm atmosphere when visiting. Very much a home-from-home. All staff are very approachable. Fantastic activities and food. Mum always has a smile on her face. Lots of activities available or places to relax. Lovely outside area.

Fotherby House is just the best care home. My mother was a resident (or part of the Fotherby Family) for 12 months until she sadly passed away, aged 90, in September 2023.

My mum had visited numerous people in Fotherby House over the years and had concluded that it was the best care home in Louth. Fortunately, there was a space at her time of need!

The care for my Mum was first class. The room was perfect for her needs, it was private and had a small garden.

The food is excellent, but the most important part is the staff. They are wonderful and provide great care and loads of love and support. My mum particularly enjoyed the daily activities, which got everyone involved and had lots of fun and laughter.

Mum made new friends at Fotherby House and would play whist or dominoes in the afternoon or have a good chat about the good old days. - So, for Mum, and indeed the whole family, Fotherby House was perfect. - Mike N (son of resident)
